BIOGRAPHY:
Ellen Dionna is a psychotherapist with over 20 years of clinical experience. She has been leading workshops in the field of personal growth for more than 30 years, including Vision Quests and Women's Wisdom weeks during the many years she and her husband lived in wilderness Vermont.
Ellen received her Bachelors in Psychology from University of Massachusetts, her Masters in Social Work from Simmons College, and has completed a two- year course of study in The Art of Spiritual Guidance from Silver Dove Institute for Spiritual Development. She has studied shamanic practice with Native American teachers, including a two-year apprenticeship with Bernardo Piexolto, a Brazilian Amazonian shaman, and in the U.S. and England with John and Caitlin Matthews, Celtic scholars and shamans. Ellen is a member of the Mountain Lion Clan of Walkers-Between-the-Worlds.
She has taken some training as a watercolor artist and is self-taught in the art of collage. Her collage prints are available through her and the New Visions Bookstore in York, PA. She has led collage workshops in Vermont and PA, and has been asked to lead Spiritual Collage at Kripalu in January of 2007.
Ellen conducts her private practice at the Agape Healing Center in York, PA.
She has been married for over 30 years to her soul-mate, Rev. Arthur Hover, is the mother and step-mother of nine grown children and "Gram" to 16 grandchildren. It is her destiny on this Earth-plane to help illumine the path for those who seek to live their most authentic and spiritually rich lives.
