Biography
Ellen Dionna is a psychotherapist with over 20 years of clinical experience. She has been leading workshops in the field of personal growth for more than 30 years, including Vision Quests and Women's Wisdom weeks during the many years she and her husband lived in wilderness Vermont.
Ellen received her Bachelors in Psychology from the University of Massachusetts, her Masters in Social Work from Simmons College in Boston, and has completed a 2 year course of study in The Art of Spiritual Guidance from Silver Dove Institute for Spiritual Development. She has studied shamanic practice with Native American teachers, including a 2 year apprenticeship with Bernardo Piexoto, a Brazillian Amazonian shaman, and in the US and England with John and Caitlin Matthews, Celtic scholars and shamans. Ellen is member of the Mountain Lion Clan of Walkers-Between-the-Worlds.
She has taken some training as a watercolor artist and is self-taught in the art of collage. Her collage prints are available as Notecards and prints. She has led collage workshops in Vermont and Pennsylvania.
She has been married for over 30 years to her soul-mate, Rev. Arthur Hover, is the mother and step-mother of eight grown children and "Gram" to eleven grandchildren. It is her destiny on this Earth-plane to help illumine the path for those who seek to live their most authentic and spiritually rich lives.
Ellen conducts her private practice at the Agape Healing Center in York, Pennsylvania, and in her home in Dover Pennsylvania.
